CERT from CCC has been at WMCC doing searches of cells because of a recent death that the DOC believes to be an overdose (but according to our sunshine request, no autopsy has come back yet). This means the incarcerated are on lockdown with no phone calls, no rec, and they’re given bag lunches. CERT has reportedly found multiple cell phones. Visits have been canceled at most DOC facilities for over a year now so where are these cell phones coming from? DOC staff, most likely. It’s not visitors.
