According to records obtained by Missouri Prison Reform from the Missouri Department of Corrections through a Sunshine Law request, at least 29 individuals died in state custody between January 1 and March 31, 2025.
We continue to track these cases closely, as the number of in-custody deaths remains a key indicator of conditions and quality of care within Missouri’s prison system.

My son (Johnathan Overmyer 1115810) who is in Fulton diagnostic center has diabetes. He is having trouble getting his medicine. I worry because his blood sugar is so high that he will become ill and maybe pass. Who do I turn to?
