Things have not improved with the drug problem since the ban of physical mail! More people are having more ” episodes ” (that’s what they call the overdose now) than ever before, so much so that the guards ignore them unless they aren’t breathing! Hell, they don’t even lock them up anymore because as soon as they come out, they get the goodies and fly again and back they go to the hole. It’s worse now than before and LISTEN I’m no rat, I just don’t like seeing people’s son’s, brothers, fathers, uncles, cousins, etc. leave this place in an ambulance or body bag! I know I wasn’t sentenced to this type of punishment and I shouldn’t have to watch this go on! There is now only 3 ways that the drugs are getting in this place and that’s legal mail that really isn’t legal mail, or the harsh reality that staff is bringing it in, or the last way is that people incarcerated are using the chemicals in this place to make this stuff! All anyone must do is FOLLOW THE MONEY! The state of Missouri is wasting tax payers money, A LOT OF MONEY ! Stupid is as stupid does! When does it stop? We still have an overdose problem, if not worse than before the DOC sent all our mail south! What a waste! The money wasted on the mail could have spent on reeducating some of us to get us out the door, yet that’s not the goal of the mighty D.O.C. Why do u think people keep coming back to prison? Because there is no training! No one learning things to thrive! Drugs are a means to escape reality, why? No one taught them about life! Somewhere it went wrong, and the system threw them in here and the cycle continued! No intervention!
