Missouri Prison Reform News
We received several messages from a man incarcerated in Missouri’s Department of Corrections regarding being made to work in the kitchen with symptoms of COVID as well as some information at MTC.
According to this message, more transfers will be coming into MTC this week. These men are incredibly frustrated by what’s been going on at this facility and what continues as well as the lack of action taken by the department of corrections.
We received this message from a man in “treatment” at Maryville Treatment Center. We appreciate these men sharing the truth of what’s really going on at these facilities.

Please call Ms. Precythe and demand that these […]
The Department of Corrections just decided to update their COVID-19 numbers after a week. https://doc.mo.gov/media-center/newsroom/covid-19/data
Apparently there are major problems with the heat at Ozark Correctional Center, also. This makes 6 facilities that we know of. And when concerned family members attempted to call and speak with Deputy Warden Gary Fuwell today, he refused to take their phone calls. This is how prison administration deals with these kinds of issues.
We’re still receiving reports of no heat in at least parts of some Missouri Department of Corrections facilities. This is unacceptable. Some of these people cannot handle these cold temperatures. What is the DOC doing about this? Edited to add: hearing that FRDC and PCC also have no heat in at least parts of the […]
