Here is an example; law enforcement is not held accountable for the atrocities they committed and those whom investigate law enforcement are themselves law enforcement.. It is the same with corrections no accountability; whatever the official says is deemed as fact and even when policy and procedure support the person incarcerated, it is cast aside in favor of the reporting officer. This is a collective decision which runs from the bottom to the very top…
There exist the same mentality which set into motion shooting cops which according to daily conversations soon corrections officials will be next. I see the train coming down the tracks… We are not there yet, just as police are essential to an orderly society it must be responsible… Incarceration does not have to be run with the idea of punishment ,the goal should be to decriminalize the individual… I will not dive deeply into specifics here as the department is prone to retaliate against people whom are to out spoken. But for sure when the investigators are also employed but the state whether it be law enforcement or corrections truth is suppressed and justice is not is found… Too much conflict of interest..
