Mission

We advocate for those incarcerated in the Missouri Department of Corrections by elevating their voices, advocating for their needs, and exposing harmful policies that undermine our overall goal of harm reduction, healing and rehabilitation.

Vision

We envision a future where Missouri’s correctional facilities serve as models of rehabilitation and restoration. We aspire to cultivate a system that prioritizes holistic care, supports rehabilitation efforts, and promotes successful reintegration into society. By fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and continuous improvement, we aim to create safer communities and opportunities for personal growth and redemption for all individuals.

Values

At Missouri Prison Reform, our work is guided by core values of integrity, compassion, equity, and resilience. We believe in upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and accountability in our advocacy efforts. We strive to approach our work with empathy and understanding, recognizing the inherent worth and dignity of every person impacted by the justice system. With resilience and determination, we endeavor to drive meaningful change and create a more just and humane correctional system in Missouri.
