We have gotten several messages about different Missouri Department of Corrections facilities not having heat this weekend, at least in parts of the facilities. The affected facilities that we know of so far are FCC, WMCC, and MECC. At one of these facilities we were told that some of the incarcerated asked for IRR forms and staff refused to give them to those who asked. We will post more information when we know more.
Edited to add: we were just told that CCC doesn’t seem to have heat, either. The women there are “freezing”.
